marcus can handle himself. it strikes valuable to keep some measure of distance from his methods. ]

Rowntree was raised in a tower. That's well enough for Orlais — but Starkhaven only invented syllables in the Blessed Age, so we must try to be understanding.

The man has lived his life with only mages for equals. If you wish him to regard you, you need give him a reason.
