Entropy and creation are two halves of a cycle. Isaac's learned to supplement his spells by feeding these into each other.
Despite appearances, this isn't blood magic. Because of appearances, Isaac is careful about using these casually, or in mixed company. Several abilities assume or benefit from proximity to allies, given his background in the Rebellion.
It's important to note that this spec doesn't come with modern medical knowledge: Isaac can't tell you about germ theory (okay he can a little now thx rifters), or explain collagen breakdown. He just knows that what he's doing works.
MENDING:
+ Stasis
A target that doesn't resist is placed into a deep, stabilizing sleep to allow more thorough healing. Enables Isaac to restore more extensive injuries than he could otherwise.
+ If he chooses, Isaac can channel his mana continuously into a target in stasis, and repair damage as it accrues (ex: from poison or disease). This requires uninterrupted focus and can only be maintained for a few hours.
Infuse
Temporarily empowers a potion or poison with magical energy, increasing the strength of its effects. Also makes it less stable — when the spell fades (in about an hour), it spoils anything not already consumed. Up to one bottle's worth at a time.
Triage
Healing spells will first target the area of greatest damage. Ex: Your sucking chest wound will get dealt with before (most of) your scabs.
Recycling
Recently-healed allies have a chance to heal additional nearby allies a lil bit (that cut is clotting faster, you’ve got a second wind)
Inoculated
Isaac doesn't get sick. Except by mod plot convenience.
Vitality
When injured, Isaac’s body repairs itself without conscious intent. This is visibly unpleasant, and a little Abomination-y.
This won't fix mortal injuries on its own, though it could stabilize him long enough for someone else to assist.
Subject to all the same limits of standard magic healing (so no regrowing limbs, doesn't extend his lifespan).
Inhibited by anti-magic, and stuff can heal in the wrong place if interfered with.
UNDOING:
+ Unravel
Old scars and recent wounds alike reopen, and begin breaking or bleeding fresh. This cannot target specific injuries, it's all or nothing babey.
+ Reopened wounds are more difficult to heal magically (~50% effectiveness): The spells can't find enough purchase.
Curdle
Sours a consumable liquid, nullifying any positive effects and otherwise making it super gross. May induce vomiting. Can be used on up to one bottle's worth at a time, or on one person who Isaac observed drinking it within the last hour. Unless it's plot-convenient that it doesn't work.
Decompose
Induces or accelerates rot in organic matter. It's easier to speed what's already happening than to start it from scratch, and more difficult by quantity and complexity.
Withering Aura
While Miasma is active, its range now extends outward from allies within Isaac's line of sight.
Parasite
Isaac unconsciously siphons off others' connection to the Fade, increasing his spellpower around other mages.
EXCESS:
Rampancy
Briefly buffs a target to extreme excess. Renders them superhumanly strong and fast (beyond standard Creation auras), but they'll also tear their own muscles and break bones with any incautious exertion.
Fever
Empowers growth and life in a target's open wounds, encouraging rapid infection. Afflicted targets have a chance of spreading disease to those they interact with — friendly fire enabled.
Overgrowth
Forces an excessive amount of energy into healing a wound, causing rapid unchecked tissue growth. Bones might solidify before setting correctly, disfiguring tumours could form, or wounds close up with debris still inside. Completely exhausts his mana supply.
